Problem: Tourists are flocking towards the biggest cities in the UK which leaves rural British communities empty and economically suffering.
Observation: Benches in the UK are an attraction it self. Endless pictures of funny plaques, stupid park benches and articles are found online.
- Even a british gentleman named Samuel Wilmot started #ratethisbench to rate benches in the UK. But Samuel Wilmot has not yet found a bench he deems worthy of 10/10.
Solution: giffgaff creates The Ultimates Benches that have everything a perfect bench should have (according to Samuel Wilmot) - and more.
To get attraction to the rural areas, we place the benches in the 10 most beautiful hidden gems around the rural UK. Then we invite Samuel Wilmot to rate the benches on his Instagram along with different media that attend the judgement. And hopefully the local communities will finally lure the tourists away from London.
