PXP21 - TURNING FORMULA 1 TIRES INTO SNEAKERS

In this project our job was to find a sustainable solution to an environmental problem within a rich civilization that could have an environmental significance.

A huge thank you to Will Buxton for his voice-over and support!

Fact: 3000 tons of rubber from Formula 1 tires goes to waste every year.

Insight:
Every racing tire has a story.

Problem: Formula 1 is a sport with a big carbon footprint.

Solution:
PXP21 is a sustainable limited collection of Puma sneakers made with soles from old Pirelli tires. So to decrease the already high carbon footprint, we throw the tires into recycling, where the stories of Formula 1 will live on.
